Adorable skeleton-fish ring – whimsical and practical all in one. I made this out of 100% copper, sawing and texturing it, and finishing it with an antique patina. (After all, if the fish is a skeleton, hes likely an antique!) I buffed the ring with Renaissance Wax for lasting durability. Because the ring is easily adjustable, it will fit almost any size from a size six up to a size nine or ten. So: will a copper ring turn your finger GREEN? That depends on your body chemistry and how humid it is. The green color wont hurt, if it does, but if youd really rather it not, you can always buff Mr. Skelly Fish with some auto wax – its carnauba wax – when the Renaissance Wax wears off, or line him with felt or fabric. Many people believe that copper helps with arthritis. We cant make a claim about that, not having our Mds. However, if you turn green or are curious about any claimed health benefits of copper, talk to your licensed MD.
