That Strange Creature, Teenaged Girl When I was about 16, I went with my mother and sister on a road trip to visit Moms parents in southern Illinois. But on the way we stopped in Knoxville, Tenn to visit one of my aunts. The night of the day we arrived, me, my sister and some of my teenaged cousins went to a local pavilion where they had a live band, playing Top 40 tunes. There were some unattached Tennessee girls there, and one of them came up to me and started giving me a hard time. I just kinda withdrew as I didnt understand why I was being messed with, and she finally disdainfully stalked off. My cousin (strange, I cant remember his name at this point) told me that the girl was flirting with me. Haha! Strange ways these hillbillies have. She scared the living crap out of me
