Thats just a snippet of my thoughts. I leave with this - Its hard to be a Black Man in America. I am not referring to the rapper, actor, athlete. Most equate the Black Man in America with them. As I used to say often, Its hard out here in these streets! 1. People fear you if you have a job, fear you if you dont. 2. People are intimated if you speak proper English, intimated if you dont. 3. Are surprised if you live with/take care of/provide for your kids. Arent surprised when you dont. 4. People question you if you have credentials/education/titles. They also question you (and think you are questionable) when you dont. I am not attempting to marginalize your struggle (insert your age/gender/ethnicity, orientation, religion, class, etc. here). I am just saying that this Black Man in America thing is a trip.
