The Las Vegas Regional Music Awards Board was established by Artist (Independent and Mainstream), Producers, A&Rs , DJs and Executive CEOs that has made a great contribution to the Entertainment Industry as well as their Communities. Helecia Choyce, founder and organizer of the Las Vegas Regional Music Awards, has been outspoken about her mission and expectations of this ceremony. The purpose of the Las Vegas Regional Music Awards goes deeper than honoring artists who have made significant contributions to the industry. Its also about promoting diversity in the Hip Hop genre, educating the public on the work of Hip Hop pioneers and to diminish the negativity associated with Hip Hop . This statement is evident in this years honorees. which include Some very Special guest that are making a great difference in our communities. Connecting Music, Fashion, Film, Non- Profit Organizations, Historical Community Leaders as well as Recognizing the hard work of Independent Artist. Not stopping at just a better image for the Music Industry especially the Hip Hop community, Helecia also wants it to be known that positive change starts with our youth and education. [This] organization hopes to implement after-school music programs and initiate scholarship programs so students can pursue their dreams in college.
