The 2013 National School Climate Survey conducted by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which was released today, shows that while there have been some improvements for LGBT students, many still experience hostile middle and high school environments. But the survey also reports that students with LGBT-related resources and supports report better school experiences and academic success.
