The 3rd fact of the day regarding Senior Staffy Club - On top of the £13,000+ we spent on vet bills in 2014 we also have to find money for kennel fees - which for 2014 alone amounted to £7,818. That means in 2014, for the kennel and vets bills alone, we have had to find a grand total of £21,546 !! ...and amazingly we only ask adopters for a £90 adoption donation to adopt one of our Seniors. If we had managed to rehome all of the 45 dogs we had taken into our care in 2014 (which sadly we havent) that would raise us only £4050.... So how do we do it you ask? Well through sheer determination, hard work, long hours for no pay (although Staffy kisses are of course worth their weight in gold!), and by knowing that we have people like you to help support us, spread the word, and believe like we do in our Senior Staffys, and the fact they all deserve to find loving forever homes. We have an amazing group of people called the Kennel Crusaders who sign up to donate just £10 a month to help pay for the kennel fees - and we REALLY, REALLY could not do what we do without them. We COULD NOT have saved as many as we have in 2014 without their commitment and we cannot thank them enough. If you would like to help save Senior Staffys but are unable to adopt, foster or volunteer in any other way, just by commiting to pay £2.50 a week you WILL save Senior Staffys in need.
