The 9th step in your journey into the power of God is to be a witness for Him. Serve Him. The only justification you have for seeking power from God is that you need it to be more effective in serving Him and reaching more people with His grace. Identify the area of your gifting or preference, then be a witness for Christ there. There is the hiding of His power: in your serving and doing Hands. Lets sum it up: When a Christian baptised in the Holy Spirit develops a strong love for God and has a deep compassion for humanity, and then identifies an area of service and with dogged determination seeks God for enablement to serve in that capacity; That Christian will grow in power. You can and will grow in the power of God. The more faithful you are in service and in seeking Gods face and presence, the more you grow in power. Offcourse youll be the first beneficiary of His power with your family. You suddenly discover that you gain speed and are able to accomplish more with little than can a multitude with much. It is impossible to grow in power without a strong desire for it, backed with committed, relentless pursuit of it! Its true power can be transferred from someone who has it to another but for it to abide, the conditions above must be met. Who will pay the price?
