The AAP is the only recognised political party in the country which believes in transparent political funding and all its donations and their sources are in public domain. The BJP has been resorting to systematic lies against the AAP despite the fact that its own central government informed the Delhi High Court on Wednesday that it has found nothing objectionable about the AAP funding. This was for the second time within seven months that the central government made this categorical statement. Earlier, on May 7, the union home ministry in its affidavit filed in the High Court had stated that no violation of any law had been found in its probe into the AAP funds. The AAP challenges the BJP to reveal its sources of funds and can it deny the fact that 75% of BJPs funds come from unknown sources? It is the BJP which along with the Congress was found guilty by the Delhi High Court of having accepted foreign funds on March 29 this year. The AAP is giving BJP seven days time to tender a public apology, failing which the party will file a case of criminal defamation against the leaders of its Delhi unit named in the legal notice.
