The APSU Band is proud to announce Vanessa Cobb as the Assistant Director of Athletic Bands at APSU. She will assist in all aspects of planning and facilitating rehearsals and performances of the Governors Own Marching Band and Pep Band in the Fall semester, and will serve as Director of the APSU Concert Band in the Spring. Mrs. Cobb was a five-year member of the GOMB as an undergraduate student, she then returned to APSU for two years a Graduate Assistant while earning simultaneous Masters degrees in Instrumental Conducting and Music Education. Mrs. Cobb will serve the GOMB in a part-time capacity as she continues her public school career as a music teacher in Robertson County. Please welcome Mrs. Cobb into her new role with the GOMB!!
