The Australian High Commissioner, Mr Todd Mercer, welcomed His Excellency Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Pehin Orang Kaya Perkerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Awg Lim, at the Australian High Commission this afternoon to sign the Commonwealth of Australia’s Condolence Book for the Malaysian Airlines MH17 tragedy. Of the 298 people onboard MH17, 38 called Australia home including 28 Australian citizens and dual nationals. The Condolence Book will remain available in the Foyer of the Australian High Commission (Level 6, Dar Takaful IBB Utama, Jalan Pemancha, BSB) for members of the public to sign until the Australian National Commemoration Service is held on Thursday, 7 August.
