The Blue Tansy saga continues - After already receiving a number - TopicsExpress

The Blue Tansy saga continues - After already receiving a number of samples of blue tansy from all over the US spurred by my previous post, I am sad to report that I have at least 4 cases so far where people are being sold Nepalese chamomile as blue tansy. This chamomile is the lowest price of all chamomiles on the market and actually smells nothing like blue tansy but I guess at least some suppliers think its good enough to pass. If you are not familiar with the odor of Nepalese chamomile then let the typical green color of this oil be a dead giveaway (its almost always green unless its from one of the very few distillers in Nepal who do it right to keep the oil blue by proper distilling and storage). Blue tansy oil should not be green. Ive also included the full analysis report, the high beta-farnesene and low chamazulene are dead giveaways, the oil is not even close to blue tansy analytically. I am not going to name any suppliers here so please do not ask, once people get their results they are free to share them with whoever they want but I dont do that here, most of the time I dont even know who the supplier is anyway and I dont want to know. More updates to come as the samples continue to come in. Please share and spread the news so people can beware of these imposter oils. Ill be issuing the official EOU standard for Blue Tansy oil in the next few days so people can know what profile to look for.
