The Bluff Web Radio, an online radio station operated by Southern University students, will be back on the air today. You can catch The Bluff Web Radio online at www3.subr.edu/Thebluff and follow them on Instagram@theyardsubr. Larry Medley, president and Shaina Walker, a senior Mass Communications major from Atlanta, at vice president, are managing operations. Medley, a senior Mass Communications major, says he wants the student body to have a positive outlook when they think about The Bluff Radio. And, the Clarksdale, Miss., native says he wants to use the radio station to inspire the community to support the Mass Communication Department. The major goals of The Bluff Radio are to be proactive around campus, to satisfy its listeners and to give back to the community. The radio station will consist of weekly shows with various topics that relate to students and the surrounding community. The shows will not be directed toward a particular audience and the goal of each show will be stay in tuned with all of its listeners.
