The Cart Before the Horse How often in our life have we heard the expression,dont put the cart before the horse....simply put, the horse pulls the cart, not the other way around. For all of us, the cart is driving on the beach, the horse is who makes the decisions. There is much discussion on this upcoming eggs and issues breakfast. Good! Discussion is good. But this is a perfect example of the cart before the horse. The outcome of this event is nothing more than a morning of debate, and certain egos either inflamed or satisfied. They will discuss the cart when it is the horse that is the real issue here. The real debate is not in the cars on the beach, but who makes the decision. Even those opposed to beach driving would understand and more than likely agree the magnitude of the decision is so great it should be put to a vote of the people as it was in 1985. There is precedent for this. Keep the discussions going. Keep the debate alive. However, show the community at large that people here in this group are respectful, compassionate, and most of all above the rhetoric that attracts the labels of radicals and extremists. Refrain from always using the terms, crooked politicians, corruption, they dont care about the people...which brings up another ole expression, kill them with kindness....as always stay focused and keep enlarging the numbers. The best is yet to come...
