The Commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus Christ; Is 8:20. Dear beloved of the Lord; The debate of Sunday and Sabbath and the Commandments of God on fb is taking momentum every day. I see that the Church of God is already divided instead of standing united in one faith. By the Grace of God I’d like to explain simply in plain Bible terms. Believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is 100% correct and those who received Him as their personal Savior, God bless you. Those who accept and obey the Commandments of God is 100% correct and God bless you. Jesus Christ met the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well and told her Jn 4:20***** Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.*****21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, shall ye worship the Father.22 *****Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know;******** for salvation is from the Jews.23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers. *****This conversation simply means that ****the Jews worship God by keeping the law**** while we the Gentiles worship God in ***FAITH***. There will still be disagreements on this matter as is already evident in the early church (Acts 15:1-41) so Jesus said that man will come and worship God on the neutral ground vs 23. That means the Jews will bring their Law (Commandments) and the Gentiles will bring their Faith of Jesus Christ. By that the Jews must believe and ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR and KEEPING THE COMMANDMENTS of GOD is not a problem to them. On the Gentile side the FAITH of JESUS CHRIST as our LORD and SAVIOR is not a problem to us but we have to KEEP the COMMANDMENTS of GOD to point out SIN (1Jon 3:4) so we walk in Righteousness with God as it is written in **********Pr 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life:*********** But there was one problem; the Jews have 617 Customary Laws, 7 Ceremonial Laws and 10 Moral Laws. On the other hand, Gentiles have their own sets of Customary Laws and when we amalgamate everything together they will be burdensome. So Jesus Christ ABOLISHED the CUSTOMARY LAWS which will be burdensome for us and nailed them on the cross; *****Eph 2:15 having ****abolished**** in the flesh**** the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances*****; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace;16 and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby*****:17 and he came and preached peace to you that were far off, and peace to them that were nigh**** and ******FULLFILLED the CEREMONIAL LAWS (the shadows or anti type);****** **********Col 2:14 having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day or a new moon or a sabbath day:17 which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christs. ************ and MAGNIFIED and made it HONORABLE the 10 COMMANDMENTS of GOD; ********Isa 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.*********** (see also Mat 5:17-18, 19:16-19)******** and with LOVE urged us to keep the 10 Commandments which is not burdensome;******** 1Jo 5:3 ********For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.******* Apostle Peter puts it plainly; Ac 20:21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, *****repentance toward God***** and ******faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ*****. (REPENT TO GOD FOR BREAKING HIS 10 COMMANDMENTS AND BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR). Once we have done that (both Jews and Gentiles) we are called into His fold where we can have peace to worship God; *************Re 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.*************** and because you have met the requirements of ETERNAL LIFE, Satan will be attacking as clearly stated in; *********Re 12:17 And the dragon (Satan) was wroth with the woman (Church), and went to make war with ******the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.********* The Sabbath of God is an integral part of the 10 Commandments of God and cannot be separated and it is as important as the other 9 Commandments. We can be guilty by breaking any one of the Commandments of God James 2:10 and may also lead others astray so be cautious when dealing with Subjects Matters God declared holy and sacred. Friendly reminder to those who attack the ETERNAL COMMANDMENTS OF GOD: Please beware that Satan might be using you as a vessel to attack the REMNANT CHURCH OF GOD which KEEP the Commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus Christ to deviate others to come to salvation so humble yourself and prayerfully ask God to show you the two sides of the coin.
