The Constitution is not dead, the people both in and out of government who continue to allow the failure of obeying its mandates are responsible for todays tyranny. Nothing in the power to tax the people has been changed since The Constitution was originally written, however, there are those who falsely believe fairytales, like the 16th Amendment made a change in the taxing power, WHICH IT DID NOT DO. Read Article 1, Section 2, Clause 3 AND Article 1, Section 9, Clause 4 of the Constitution and then read the 16th Amendment and show me where the 16th repealed anything. Just in case you need to see how an Amendment that repeals anything is written, read the 21st Amendment that repealed the 18th Amendment. Once that settles in your mind, research the numerous USSC rulings after the passage of the 16th Amendment that very clearly and plainly state that the sixteenth amendment did not change the taxing power of the federal government, it was/is the same after its passage as it was before its passage, NO NEW TAXING POWER WAS CREATED. The 16th Amendment did not even deal with the power to tax, it dealt with the differences between the only two classes of taxes permitted by The Constitution, Direct and Indirect. THE MISAPPLICATION of that power to tax by the government, combined with its numerous other unconstitutional actions are the source of 99% of Americas problems today. Instead of following the Rule Of Law laid out in the Constitution, our Constitutional Republic which acknowledged numerous inalienable rights which neither government nor any group of people could infringe upon, has been turned into a democratic republic (AKA a democracy=mob rule by the majority) which does not recognize the rights of individuals, but rather allows the majority to make up the rules as they see fit. James Madison, the father of the U.S. Constitution called democracy the ...most vile form of government...spectacles of turbulence and contention...incompatible with personal security or rights of property...in general as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths. The Founders view was to create a new form of government where the Constitution was the Supreme Law, not to be infringed upon, protecting individual minority rights, and limiting government to very specific duties. Justice Roberts, by his claiming the ACA (Obamacare) is a tax, provided the out for the majority of American Citizens, since it is obviously, clearly, and plainly a Direct Tax, which the federal government can only lawfully impose through the rule of apportionment, and NEVER directly upon a person or property. Learn the truth by reading The Memorandum at truth-attack. Learn the proper. application for income taxes at losthorizons. STOP allowing red herrings like flat, fair, VAT, etc. tax proposals to distract you from the truth regarding federal taxing power and the legitimate objects of that taxation.
