The Dr A from Emory just called with an update, Tuesday John DeLoach will get injections into the top vert in the neck then Sept 13th is his surgery, they will go in from the front of the neck both sides w bone from his hip to screw it in place for stability, flip him over and go in from the back to remove the damaged bone & to relieve pressure from the spinal cord. 2-4 days in the hospital, 8-9months recovery.
