The Fort Worth Stock Show Parade will be held in Downtown Fort Worth Saturday morning January 17, 2015. In honor of our country’s Wounded Warriors the FWSSR provides several horse drawn wagons to Wounded Warriors and guest to use in our parade. Last year 42 Wounded Warriors participated. It is recommended that those participating arrive at our staging area by 9:30 a.m. Parade line-up begins at 10:00 a.m. and the parade begins at 11:00 a.m. There is limited seating in wagons so it is necessary to pre register as we do not want to turn anyone away. Additional information, such as maps and physical location will be available to anyone interested in participating. In addition, we have Military Appreciation Day at the FWSSR. Through the generosity of Denbury Resources and the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, FREE admission to the Stock Show grounds and one of the rodeo performances that day is provided to all active and retired military personnel and their immediate family. Military Appreciation Day will be held Monday, February 2, 2015. While there is no limit to those wanting to enter the Stock Show grounds on Military Day, it is required that rodeo tickets be reserved to attend the rodeo.
