The Fugitive Apprehension Street Team (F.A.S.T.), composed of Detectives/Deputies from the Michigan City Police Department, Laporte County Sheriff’s Department and United States Marshal’s Service would like to announce the arrests of two subjects from the Michigan City Police Department’s Ten Most Wanted list. On Monday, January 12th, 2015; Edward Dorsey, 33, who was wanted on two active La Porte County Warrants for Failure to Appear for Dealing a Narcotic Drug, Dealing a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance and Dealing Cocaine, all Felony charges as well as Resisting Law Enforcement and Battery, both misdemeanors was taken into custody by the Street Crimes Unit (SCU). Additional charges as a result of Dorsey’s arrest are expected. On Tuesday, January 13th, 2015; Corey Bonds, 31, who was wanted on an active La Porte County Revocation Warrant for: Dealing Cocaine was taken into custody by FAST. Information was obtained that Corey would be attending a medical facility in Portage, Indiana. FAST followed up on this information and observed Corey arrive at this appointment. FAST then entered the establishment and took Corey into custody without incident. As a result of these arrests the following people are being added to the top ten: Brandon Shepherd, 21, who was last known to reside in the Michigan City area is wanted on four (4) active La Porte County Warrants for: FTA for Armed Robbery B-Felony, FTA for Resisting Law Enforcement D-Felony, FTA for Possession of Marijuana A-Misdemeanor and False Informing B-Misdemeanor. Brandon is a black male, 5’10”, 225 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. Brandon is known to frequent Michigan City as well as Fort Wayne, Indiana. Brandon has a tattoo of the letter “B” on his right forearm with a crown above it. Coron Henderson, 26, is wanted on an active La Porte County warrant for: Battery as a Level 6-Felony. Coron is a black male, 5’9”, 155 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. Coron was last known to reside in the area of Michigan City and Gary, Indiana. Coron has a tattoo of a cross on his right forearm and the name “Felicia” on his upper left arm.
