The Goonies 2 was one of my favorite NES games and specifically one that my brother and I liked figuring out together since we were both big fans of the film. I remember being confused when this came out around December 1987 because there wasnt a Goonies 2 movie nor did I ever see a Goonies 1 game on Nintendo. It was only after exhaustive research that I found out that there was a Goonies 1 game but it was a Japanese exclusive release. I finally imported Goonies 1 for NES years later, July 1991 to be specific. Good times, classic games.
