The Grace of Virtue We are to use the process of addition as we scale the ladder of grace adding to our faith virtue which is moral excellence and purity this is essential for us to reflect Christs image to the world. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 2 Peter 1:5; Philippians 4:8; 2 Peter 1:3. We are called by God to have the moral sensibility to distinguish between right and wrong that we are may live up to our profession of being followers of Christ.
