The Greater Spokane Elks Lodge #228 is in the process of reviving its Veteran outreach program. We are currently working with them to connect with the local area Veterans groups and set up some events. We will be co-hosting a large event on 24 January 2015. Details will be posted around Veterans day next month. We have two new board members, several new general members and are currently updating our website, by laws, SOPs and operation management plans. After two years of networking and marketing the BBTC to the area Veterans community, we finally were able to meet with the Peer Support and Behavioral health staff at the Spokane VA. While we cannot form a legal partnership with the VA, we are now approved with them so they can recommend and refer Veterans to our group. More updates coming this week.
