The Holy Spirit in the New Testament (Part 2) I have still many - TopicsExpress

The Holy Spirit in the New Testament (Part 2) I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now. But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. He will honour and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. (John 16: 12- 15) AMP • The Holy Spirit brings illumination, revelation to the truth in the Scriptures because they can only be spiritually discerned. He is the One who inspired the writers of the Holy Bible. • The Holy Spirit will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. • “He will honour and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. • Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you” by Jesus Christ. • I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now and that is why we need the wisdom & revelation of the Holy Spirit. • Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny]. • For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man’s thoughts except the man’s own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God (1 Cor. 2: 10- 11) • He (The Holy Spirit) came to earth on the day of Pentecost and He’s still here... When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Holy Spirit enabled them... (Acts 2: 1- 4)
