The Hope of Humanity IGNORANCE IS: Two chatting people blocking the entrance of a busy grocery store with no concern to who they disrupt Talking quite loud on a cell phone with no concern for others Believing that people are more important than others forms of life That animals dont have feelings Saying negative things about another and thinking it doesnt matter Thinking negative things about others and believing it doesnt matter Thinking and saying derogatory things about yourself and believing it doesnt affect who you are. Believing that the government is serving the people Believing that those who do studies of any kind do not have a bias Pouring chemicals into the environment and believing they dont affect us Believing that the rise in all kinds of disease is not directly related to the chemical saturation in our environment Trying to find cures for any disease because big business doesnt want to stop poisoning the environment (which is the underlying cause) and affect its bottom line. Believing that there is not a cleaner energy source than crude chemicals Believing God wants us to micromanage each others lives Believing God loves one group, species or region better than another. Perceiving God as petty as man Poisoning the ground to have pretty green grass and thinking it doesnt affect us Believing that there is no cause and effect of our actions as an individual or group. Demanding people to have children and then scorning their inability to provide for them. Destroying the natural mechanism (trees) that literally manufactures our air. Killing the weeds that have been the natural medicines for centuries. Sacrificing a 300 year old tree every year for peoples amusement in a big city instead of just planting a tree where it stands. Believing that we are powerless to change the world we live in The average person uses less than a fraction of their brain and heart power to energize the world with loving intention. We honor the passion, talent and integrity of such a small few. We see something dynamic in someone and put them in a leadership position, and expect them to nourish us. But the weight of doing it alone is too overwhelming. That is what happens to a promising young politician or performer. Their integrity is broken by the sheer weight of the apathy of all others. They implode from the internal pressure. It is not for us to emulate one person. We must all step up to the plate with our talent, our integrity, our voice. Share what we Love, be who we are at the core of our essence, shine from within and pour our beingness into this world and let it spill out on the masses. Speak form our heart, encourage each other and question what has always been unquestioned. The greatest ignorance is in not sharing our gifts and believing we dont matter. The greatest crime against humanity is billions of people living in apathy when they have so much untapped resources to share. If we can correct the small acts of ignorance maybe the world will be blessed with our grace instead of burdened with the weight of our indifference. Empower all those around you by highlighting their potential because their potential is the seedbed of the hope of humanity.
