The House Republicans demanded a travel restriction from individuals from West Africa today, Thursday. They are calling it the only sure way to protect Americans from Ebola. At the Congressional hearing today, the CDC Chief Dr. Thomas Friedan remains confident in the ability of the USA Health Care System to fight Ebola, but says we need to stop Ebola at its source ??? In West Africa.... Friesen offered assurances Americans are safe and there will be widespread Ebola outbreak here in the USA .... however Rep Fred Upton (R-Mich) says peoples lives are at stake, adding the response this far has been unacceptable ... Upton and other Repubs say the Admin should BAN TRAVEL of individuals from the hardest hit nations of Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia and QUARANTINE U.S. Citizens arriving from there.
