The JAL Group recognizes the benefits for humanity and the global environment of biodiversity, and we actively work to preserve biodiversity and to maintain sustainability. Thus using JAL logo’s Red-crowned crane as a theme, JAL held a “JAL Red-crowned crane Photo Contest”. This is our second time to hold the photo contest, and we received a total of 625 amazing entries. Selected 10 entries have received prizes. The Red-crowned crane was captured in different forms with different perspective of all photographers. Moreover, in every photo taken, we can feel the story behind it. The selected entries will then be displayed in Kushiro Airport, Hokkaido (approx. end of July); it will also be made in JAL’s poster or postcards. Feel free to look at the entries when you are at Kushiro Airport! With this contest, we hope to convey the importance of biodiversity through the gracefulness and elegance of the Red-crowned crane.
