The Jewish leaders didnt believe in Jesus because they didnt want to change. The same thing happens today. We want to hear God, but when it requires us to give up things we want, we call it the devil. The Lord said, My sheep hear my voice and they follow. We dont follow in perfection, its a series of adjustments, a constant reevaluation of our choices. As we follow His voice, we accept the authority of our Lord, and we count on the promise Jesus gives us, eternal life.
