The Junior Industrial Engineer generally has the following responsibilities: • Helps analyze operating environment; looks for and identifies process inefficiencies and wastes of time, money, materials, and energy. Conducts time and motion studies. • Helps identify improvements, develop business cases and present to management. Assists in conducting capability studies. • Assists in developing and evaluating pilot programs, simulations and prototypes. Helps implement new and enhanced processes and tools. • Supports design of equipment layout and workspace for maximum efficiency. Analyzes and helps plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
