The Merovi Just before humanity entered the Matrix, as they say, the Merovi successfully managed to convince the last of the remaining human resistors to join them in the campaign to claim that the Faranaya, I Am, was the true corruption and a vile evil. The same way the Merovi are destroying religion now in the Matrix is a prime example albeit tech was far more advanced.
