The NFL and the Baltimore Ravens should be hanging their heads low - TopicsExpress

The NFL and the Baltimore Ravens should be hanging their heads low this morning. For the Ravens, the owner and GM who should have been the face of the organization werent at the execution yesterday. Insread, they left poor little John Harbaugh there to do their bidding. Roger Goddell once again has missed the bus in terms of the day to day decision making pertaining to player disciplinary matters. Yes, both entities are poor embodiment of the power elite and the disrespect for the what is basically right. What is basically right you ask? First of all both parties, the NFL and the Ravens, should have acted responsibly and suspended and cut Rice after completing a thorough investigation. The two game suspension that was initially handed out was at the discretion of Goddell and Biscotti, and they opted to put a football player back on the field instead of doing the right thing....Cut Rice and get him and his wife help. Now after evidence that you should, and i believe you did know about, comes to light, you castrate a man a second time! Thats right, castrate! You made he and his wife beg for their supper initially, and then you still send them to the gallows. Make no doubt about it, this aint over! Expect fallout within the league office, not Goddell of course, and in the Ravens organization. Watch your back Ozzie! Someone will own this, and i have a suspion that it wont be the people who have the ultimate power, the commissioner and the owner. In any case, well keep watching even though the morals and character of the people who run the league dont match most of ours. At least id like to think that they dont. Why not bring back the Christians and the lions. That wasnt right either, but hell, it was entertaining.
