The NWS has issued a Hard Freeze Warning for our area thru 9 am Thurs. Temps are expect to rise above freezing this afternoon but will not likely warm enough to cause significant ice melt before dropping back below freezing tonite. As a result, roads are expected to remain icy and dangerous. Temps tonite will be in the low 20s. Continue to protect pet, tender vegetation and exposed pipes. Please check on family, friends & neighbors, particularly our seasoned citizens, to be sure they are aware of the weather risks and have adequate protection from the cold. The use of space heaters should be restricted to well ventilated areas, free from combustible materials. Travel should be limited to necessity, as icy conditions will continue to make driving treacherous. Please continue to be safe and patient. Conditions will improve soon. Thank you!
