The National Labor Relations Board recently filed a lawsuit - TopicsExpress

The National Labor Relations Board recently filed a lawsuit against McDonalds -- unilaterally changing a long-standing precedent that the parent corporation was not the employer of the franchise employees. This co-employer ruse is designed to impose biased NLRB administration and regs on small local businesses, facilitating the forced unionization of millions of part time workers while opening a lucrative new class action lawsuit vein to bleed deep pockets parent corporations for the benefit of the trial lawyers. The WALL ST JOURNAL article below details how lawless this effort is. The concluding paragraph sums it up nicely: So the NLRB unilaterally changes the law without any notice or public comment, uses the change in the law to sue a major corporation, and tells the general public that the legal reasoning behind the change cannot be revealed. My response to this revelation: Assuming this is a true story (Id like 2nd source verification of this stunning outrage), Congress should come down on this like the proverbial ton of bricks. Defund the NLRB! Defunding will send the needed message to the IRS -- and every other government agency. Return to the rule of law.
