The Official Rig Thread. Share with the group what you play your Wolfies through. How do you get YOUR signature tone? Show us your amp(s), what pedals you use and maybe even your settings if youre feeling obliging. Ill start. At present my Wolfie goes into a Morley Bad Horsie II Contour Wah -> a Digitech (4th gen. reissue) Whammy -> Bespeco VM12 volume pedal and then straight into the front of my Line 6 Flextone II HD head powering a 90s era Jackson straight 4x12 cabinet in stereo mode. Being a modeling amp, the Flextone covers many different amp models, effects, cabs and even micing options. I primarily use the treadplate 2 (Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier) amp model for my sound with a touch of delay and a decent amount of chorus for sweetening and thickness. The actual tone settings can be seen on the amp. I call this my pink panty-dropper tone. With the Wolfie dialed all the way up shes a loud and proud power metal warbeast with wonderful depth and lots of overtones. Dialed back, she sweetens up quite nicely for some crunchy blues and clean tones, depending on pickup selection. So, what are you driving these days?
