The Oregon Vortex is the name given to a naturally occurring physical phenomenon that can be witnessed in Gold Hill, Oregon, and it surrounding areas. The Oregon Vortex has been described as a spherical field of force that causes objects to defy the laws of gravity. It covers a large area and every person standing on the grounds appears to be leaning in one direction. It feels as if you are standing straight up, but your body is inclined towards the magnetic north or south. This creates an optical illusion that drastically changing a person’s height. Someone can walk across the grounds and it looks like they are shrinking or growing.
