The Out of Bounds Radio Show with Tish Pearlman will feature photographer/artist/teacher JAN KATHER Jan Kather received her MFA from Cornell University. She teaches photography and video art at Elmira College, Elmira, NY. She is the recipient of several artist grants, including the NYSCA Decentralization Artists Crossroads Program Grant to produce a community art installation titled Aleatoric Video (2007). She is a founding member of the experimental artist group Rural Research Laboratories (Elmira), the artist cooperative State of the Art Gallery (Ithaca), and most recently the International Collaborative Exquisite Corpse Video Project. In recent years her interest in the digital arts has expanded to include lenticular, video, sound and installation art in tandem with more traditional methods of art production. Kather has Collaborated with many artists including Chris Lloyd, Clare Reidy, Michael Chang and Marty McCutcheon and Tom Oberg.
