The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that they have released CB Roc Carmichael once again and have signed S Jerome Couplin who is an absolute freak, off of the Lions practice squad. Couplin is a 23 years old rookie who is 63 and 215 pounds. Couplin will be on the active roster and is expected to get playing time on special teams and in the place of Earl Wolff who is out for the season. Jerome has a vertical of 41.5 inches, ran the 40 yard dash in 4.50 seconds, and has an INSANE wingspan of 81 inches and can easily catch a ball when it is 13 feet in the air. Couplin was undrafted due to the fact he played at William and Mary and was not highly scouted... but Chip Kelly is on record saying he is a physical freak of nature who has GREAT potential. Couplin is said to have had the best combine out of ANY of the safeties drafted this season.
