The Phoenix May Day Committee calls for all members of the working class to unite in our shared struggle on the international day of workers rights. Throughout history, many battles have been won to advance the working class, but only when we have united as a community and stood in solidarity with each other. This May Day, we call for all representatives of the working class to gather in Phoenix Civic Space Park in downtown Phoenix at 4pm to celebrate past victories, share continued struggles and demonstrate the pride and strength of our community. There will be a sharing of local issues defending the rights of Arizona workers, calls to action for future events and an opportunity to connect to other activists. The Phoenix May Day Committee strongly encourages Arizona workers to develop their own autonomous affinity groups for May Day actions and act courageously to draw attention to the struggles they are passionate about.
