The Pine Creek (southern Winona County) project continues today, and the name of the game remains: Move the dirt! Here the landowner Larry Kopperud scrapes up dirt and moves it closer to Cty. Rd. 2 where the topsoil has been quite thin with rocks surfacing routinely over the years. On the lower end, a Bennett dump truck is loaded before it hauls the dirt to fill an area near the Kopperud farm-site. The project is nearing the lower end of the Kopperud farm and closer to the top end of the Brekke property.
