The Pivot Form Low Block is a modification of Sheno Kata. It helps you to learn the pivot, forward stance, and hand strikes both from the right side and the left, and the lower area block. Pivot Form Low Block Start from a prepared stance. The first two attacks you move your left foot and set the left hand to the right (or opposite) ear and the third and fourth attack you begin by moving your right foot. You begin with the right foot and your right hand sets at the left (opposite) ear and go to a right forward stance and your left hand does a low block. Front kick with the left foot followed by 2 hand strikes. The last two attacks you move your right foot and your left fist comes to the opposite ear and when your right foot goes to a forward stance you execute a right low block. Front kick followed by two reverse punches. Attack one: Show respect and set by bringing the left foot to the right foot with the left fist coming across to the right ear. Slide to the front with the left foot into a left foot forward stance and simultaneously low block. Front kick with the right foot and back followed by a right reverse punch and a left reverse punch. Attack Two: Look to the left. Set the left foot through the imaginary opponent’s leg. Pivot to a left forward stance and simultaneously low block. Front kick and back with the right foot followed by a right reverse punch and a left reverse punch. Attack three: Look behind you over your right shoulder. Set your right foot over shoulder wide behind you and simultaneously prepare for a low block by placing your right hand to your opposite ear and your left hand at your groin. Pivot and execute a low block. Front kick and set back with your left foot followed by two punches. A left reverse punch and a right reverse punch. Then look to the right. Fourth and final attack: Set the right foot as if going through the opponent’s leg and pivot to a forward stance. Simultaneously set the right fist to the opposite ear and low block. Front kick with the left foot followed by two reverse punches: Left and right. Finish by looking to the left, cross your hands at your chest, Move the right foot until your legs a crossed, and pivot to a prepared stance. Bow.
