At one level, hear the tones and watch the sheer joy and flow on the faces of each of the musicians. Feel the tenderness of the touch on the pianists on the keys. At another layer, just marvel in the seamless coordination and most importantly the connections between each of the players. Finally, you understand how every member knows exactly what needs to be done. Nothing more. Nothing less. No grabbing more responsibility and no shirking. As a result, everyone is the hero. That is what makes life so enriching and so positive. When you yourself seek to understand the the big picture of the score. When you are clear about your role and how critical your role is, even if it is just a couple of seconds. When you play to your strength. When you contribute meaningfully to everyone around you. When people around you want you and ned you to be successful. The practise of perfection of every single key and note, again and again and again and again, till you get it just right.
