The President’s speech meant to divide us, to look at those who have succeeded in their lives with envy and disdain. That is not the American spirit. His class warfare rhetoric is fuelling more division in America than ever before. America is strong when we are united as a nation and when we are given opportunities, not empty rhetoric. When we cannot trust Washington D.C. with our money and to lead us, and we know that we can no longer trust them to protect our American Dream.
