The Prime Cattle women met Tuesday July 15th at 5 pm at the SD Hall of Fame. Members present were Pres. Wendy Swanson, Suzanne, Mary, Floraine, Wanda, and Bev. SD Hall of Fame annual Induction. Kileen from the SD Hall of fame ask the club if wed again provide beef sandwiches and serve the Friday night annual social on September 12th. Pat Blum usually organizes this. Kileen suggested we have a 4H club help serve. Social hour will start at 5 pm. Kileen is also looking for someone to work the reception table at Cedar Shore on Saturday. American Island Days August 15-17th. PCW will have a booth on Saturday and possibly Sunday. Wendy will provide the the tent. The booth will focus on nutrition. Volunteers needed. Beef luncheon!!! Tentative date is September 9th. Wanda will confirm date with UCC. More members will be needed at the August 19th meeting (5pm) to help plan the beef luncheon. Mary is heading up the luncheon committee. Floraine made a motion to raise the luncheon price to $10, Wanda seconded, motion passed. State fair August 28th-September 1st. The state PCW will have a booth. Volunteers are needed. Homecoming float. We tabled if we want a home coming float or not. We have transferred our parade candy budget over to the Ag in the classroom projects. Wes Moores beef cook-off. Prime was asked to serve at the cook-off. Volunteers needed. No one was sure on the date of the cook-off.
