The Quality Deer Management Association issued statement earlier this morning recognizing OK deer managment effort. "Yearling bucks represented only 15% of the buck harvest last year in Oklahoma – and without mandatory antler restrictions. That will end up being one of the lowest rates of yearling-buck harvest in the nation when all the numbers are compiled for our annual Whitetail Report. Congratulations to Oklahoma deer hunters and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) for outstanding voluntary effort to protect yearling bucks!"
