The Rangeley Chamber of Commerce and many other organizations are attempting to help our neighbors to the north ( Lac Megantic ) get back of their collective feet. Two bank accounts have been opened, one at FSB and one at Camden. The Chamber, Giving Tree, Rotary, Rangeley Region Health Center, all the local Churches and The Fire Department are working and collecting everything from clothing, canned goods and money to help. Larry Koob at Oquossoc Marine is giving space to house donated items. We have been in contact with the Border Crossing at Coben Gore to help with the logistic of getting all of these goods across the border. There is a lot to do and if you can help, we would appreciate it, Very difficult time for all involved.
