The Rhyme&Reason Family would like to take the time to thank ALL of the AWESOME artist, movers, shakers and just all around GREAT PEOPLE who have supported this venue thus far. We LOVE your energy. We do this for you. Please continue to support the arts...and bring your friends. The arts are often the first things to be forgotten and tossed aside from our communities. However, art is a pivotal point by which cultures, historical points etc are defined. Art is also a common ground by which my cultures can build bridges and embrace one another. We CAN NOT LOSE IT. If you are a teaching or experienced artist, please lend your time and effort to schools and community programs in need of your expertise. Especially with the cuts in education which has extracurricular and enrichment activities being cut. Such programs are often the only life blood left after books, faculty, staff, and education quality have already suffered greatly. We see this all over the country. Art is a a necessary teaching tool and opens the door of interest to many a bright future. Do not miss the window of opportunity. We love the efforts of two organizations in our area as they are not just producing solid results but changing the lives of many. Take some time to check out The Philly Youth Poetry Movement website. They are again taking an AWESOME team of young poets to Brave New Voices. Visit their site for more info. Communities are also in need of volunteerism in general. We need to first assist ourselves. Please reach out to The Urban Angel Foundation for further volunteerism opportunities. They are changing lives all over the globe and are currently working on an AWESOME partnership with Bebashi Transition to Hope, called Halos for Hope.
