The Richard Preston book I ordered a few weeks ago finally arrived. Its called The Demon in the Freezer. Its a true account of various outbreaks of smallpox across the globe and its eventual eradication, or so we think, and its potential use as a biological weapon the implications of which are horrifying. Fascinating reading if you like this sort of thing. Although it contains a lot of medical jargon he writes in such a way that makes it very easy for a layperson to understand. Cant put it down.
