The SCLC Stop the Violence and Incarceration Campaign is a non-violent action for social change. It has taken us 7 years of direct actions, Press conference, Classes in the Probation Centers, Programs in the Jails, Love Fest event, Town Home Meetings, News papers articles, TV shows, Radio shows and a host of proactive programs, in that 7 years we have effected positive change in America. If you look at the violent crime rates 2007 – 2014 you will see they have been decreasing from 2007 until today. We can make a difference, if I can change and you can change, we all can change. We had only one goal when we started our SCLC Stop the Violence Campaign. We set out to change the hearts and minds of men. I ask you to join us in local Stop the Violence Rallies in Atlanta and in Clayton Co. this Saturday, due to the amount of shootings and violent death this past week. We will be at two location hard hit by violence – live entertainment, Food & Drinks, powerful speakers bringing the people together in their hour of need.
