The Sullivan Cup: Best Tank Crew Competition finished recently at Fort Benning, Georgia, and the 1st place crew was from that posts 2-69 AR, 3rd ABCT, 3rd Infantry Division. The event promotes excellence across our Armor force, including the Army -- Active and Guard, the Marine Corps, and our Canadian partners. This years competition challenged crews, especially the Tank Commanders as they planned, prepared, and executed tactical operations, and made tactical decisions in a complex operating environment. Id like to personally thank former Sergeants Major of the Army Jack Tilley and Ken Preston for attending the event and for their support and mentorship in helping the teams to increase their expertise.
