The Supporting Academic Freedom through Regulatory Relief Act - TopicsExpress

The Supporting Academic Freedom through Regulatory Relief Act (H.R. 2637) was introduced to the U.S. House of Representatives on July 10, 2013. This bipartisan legislation seeks to reduce federal intrusion, protect student choice, and limit the costly regulatory burden on colleges and universities. There is a display board in the commons area that provides a fact sheet about this legislation. I would encourage each of you to read through that information and consider signing the display board to show your support. This board will be sent on to Representative Collin C. Peterson to let him know that we encourage him to co-sponsor H.R. 2637.
