The Times is accepting applications for the next Write Team that will begin Monday, Nov. 3. Write Team members are given space in the newspaper to write a column that runs every other week for six months. You do not have to be a published or professional writer — just have a desire to write and a willingness to share your opinions and personal experiences and observations. To apply we need: -- A short bio on yourself that also explains why you want to be on the Write Team. -- One or two sample columns of 500 to 550 words. -- A list of ideas for future columns. -- The deadline to apply is Friday, Oct. 3.
