The Town of Gawler is about to enter into a very exciting period, one where a number of new faces will be added to Gawler’s already rich and diverse community. This will no doubt present Council and its community with a number of fantastic opportunities, as well as a number of challenges. In 2010, Council developed a strategic plan for Gawler based on community aspirations. Now, nearly four years on, it’s time for Council to revisit and review this plan. Gawler has changed in this time. Have community aspirations changed also? “Picture This” is the first stage in reviewing our strategic plan and we welcome your input. You are encouraged to provide input into the development of a new plan, which will be used to guide Council’s future decision-making in order to deliver the type of town and community you want to live, work and play in, by completing a survey. Tell us what needs to be improved in the town and what you love about your town and community. You can provide both general and specific comments, proposals or suggestions.
